September 7, 2011 Ask Tim Hudak to sign the Electricity Consumer Protection Pledge With a very important Ontario election underway, we are asking PC Leader Tim Hudak and all other election candidates to sign our Electricity Consumer Protection Pledge and promise Ontario’s hard working families that they will not allow nuclear companies to pass their future cost overruns onto consumers and taxpayers. In an election survey done by OCAA, the Liberal, NDP and Green party leaders all promised to not allow nuclear companies to pass their cost overruns onto consumers and taxpayers. PC Party leader Tim Hudak didn’t respond. During this election, we need your help to protect consumers from out-of-control nuclear spending. We’ll keep track of responses on our website as the election progresses. Stay tuned. Thank you. Angela Bischoff P.S. Please join Jack Gibbons and me on Thursday, September 8th at 7 p.m. at Metro Hall, 55 John Street, Rm. #303, Toronto to discuss how we can work together to promote a renewable electricity future for Ontario during the provincial election campaign.
